“Amazing Grace” is a Christian hymn published in 1779, with words written by the English poet and clergyman John Newton (1725–1807).
Nadene Delaney, dearest friend for life, by your request lady this one’s for you…. (and Him!)
I heard the most beautiful guitar arrangement of “Amazing Grace” of all places on a Stock Photo website. I loved it so much I cribbed from it and made it a little more of my own but cannot rightfully take credit for this beautiful arrangement because it is so similar to the one I heard. Unfortunately, it was a sound bite uploaded by someone from a foreign country who was given no credit or I would post her name here as a source.
I love the Lord with all my heart. As my health continues to be a daily struggled I have found comfort in my faith. I can no longer play fast, hard, or long and some days I cannot play at all. I learn something new only to be unable to remember it days later. So this makes me all the more grateful for each note that I can still get from these tired old hands.
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version (KJV)
