“Celloist” Painting by Sophia Ehrlich, July 9, 2003 Watercolor. Sophia loved many types of music including rock, country, opera, reggae, and rap. But she was especially fond of attending the symphony. She loved Shaggy, Pink, and often sang to me on the phone. While on home hospice on oxygen, I remember her cuddling me and my girls on her sofa and singing “Let’s get drunk and let’s get stupid” to cheer us.
