Backstory
My husband’s mother, Sophia, inspired me to try me hands at loose, colorful watercolors. I have no idea what this was gong to be, but it was not intended to be a flower at all — just a practice paper for mixing colors. She loved it — said it looked like an iris flower and the rest is history (or at least a conclusion to this backstory.)
