I snapped these shots outside a parking lot in Woodland Hills, CA.  While walking my daughter to her dental appointment I spied the trees and sneaked back out to grab a few shots while she was in the chair.  (It’s okay — she’s 18.)

The bark on these trees was rich with color and texture and practically breathed on me when I got up close.
