My Lord I’m asking you
How do I get to know the one Who created me?
How do I get to know the God Who breathes His life into me?
How do I get to know the One whose love set me free?
How do I learn to love you Jesus…like you first loved me?
If I could talk with you like Abram talked with you
Would we talk of souls and cities all night long?
Does your heart sigh like mine, with every new born’s cry?
Do you like chasing fireflies in the dark?
In faith I walk with you, in prayer I talk with you
What will you ask of me my Lord?
