Backstory
Portrait of a lion. This is not Simba, nor the Lion King. It’s just a regular lion — but he was so regal I wanted to paint him. And then I did a terrible job so I decided to turn it into something more abstract.
Lesson: Lions have a lot of hair. (I hate painting hair.)
