Private Family Portrait
A friend who had lost his mother asked if I could paint a picture of him together with his mother and his sister. I worked from photos, combining the three so they could be together one more time. I did not know the woman, but felt the love his son has for her and she for him as I painted this picture. It was an honor to be asked to do this family portrait.
